ABOUT TAPERED TIP SHAFTS - USE CAUTION !!
All tapered tip shafts are designed to be butt trimmed only.   Any tip trimming of tapered tip shafts will result in a poor fit of the shaft into the hosel that can cause a weak bond between the mating components creating a dangerous condition that may allow them to part during use.  Serious injury can occur if this happens.  The correct shaft length must be selected and installed in each head in a set.  Excessive butt trimming will result in an unwanted flex change and, possibly, an undersized grip.
