"Standard Bore" Woods
Tip trim amounts listed on the following chart apply to standard bore hosel design heads.  For blind-bore and bore-through design heads, adjust as follows:

For all bore-through style heads:  Tip trimming should be 1" less than the amount shown in the chart below.  If no tip trimming is recommended for a particular shaft model, then choose the next weaker flex before installing.

For all blind-bore style heads:  Tip trimming should be 1/2" less than amount shown in the chart below.

All Wood Shafts BW Do not tip trim.  Butt trim only to final length.

  All combination flex shaft are tip-trimmed to establish stiffness.  Less for a weaker flex, more for a stronger flex.  Select the correct trim code accordingly.

 Tip trim amounts above apply to standard bore hosel design heads.
 For blind-bore and bore-through design heads, adjust as follows:
 For all bore-through heads subtract 1" tip trimming from the above listed trim length.
 For all blind-bore heads subtract 1/2" tip trimming from the above listed trim length.
